We’re thrilled to share that residents at The Sanctuary will be able to ski-out directly from the neighborhood this coming winter.
The new ski out slope will be 1200 ft long with 16 snow guns so we can take full advantage of every snow-making window. It is situated below Meadows Drive and will connect to Camp 99, and then straight down to the Soaring Eagle Chair. Easier access to the slopes will create an elevated skiing experience at The Sanctuary for residents and their guests.

The grading has been done and while the dirt doesn’t look that exciting right now, it’s an exciting indication of progress. The water pipes and the snow guns have been ordered and installation will begin immediately upon their arrival. They’ll be ready to blow as soon as snow-making conditions arrive in the South Bowl.
Sebway is the term for an above-ground method of transport on snow coined by our 10-year old, Sebastian. He is so excited to leave his legacy on the mountain that he already loves and looks forward to skiing each winter.
The new ski-out is only the beginning! We have an exciting 10-year vision to expand the skiable terrain in the South Bowl in a significant way. The pieces will build on each other, and we will announce each phase as it’s ready to be unveiled.
It’s a busy summer for us at The Sanctuary. In addition to the ski-out, we are building the final four Mountain Modern homes on Meadows Drive. These are the last of these homes to be built as we shift our focus to larger homes. Take a look at the Gatehouse Modern Uphill that we’ll be breaking ground on soon.
There’s a lot to look forward to at The Sanctuary. Come see why you belong here.
