1. Location Location Location! Snowshoe Mountain is the premium ski area in the mid-Atlantic and just an afternoon’s drive away from a number of major metropolitan areas such as Baltimore, DC, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Richmond, Virginia Beach, Charlotte and Raleigh.
2. The Sanctuary is a community of premium homes located in the South Bowl of Snowshoe Mountain which gives you access to all the best the mountain has to offer, in the perfect location for some peace and quiet if that’s more your style.
3. Snowshoe offers two distinct mountains to enjoy, with an impressive 244 acres to ski. Fourteen ski lifts carry skiers up the mountains safely and efficiently to enjoy the over 60 runs, with something for every level of skier.
4. Snowshoe is a great year round playground offering the perfect escape from the oppressive heat. The cooler air temperatures make for the perfect summer getaway with so much to do. Whether it’s live music, running events or the bike park you enjoy, there’s something for everyone. There are endless hiking trails if you are looking for a tranquil escape, and also the lake and the beach if that’s more your jam.
5. Homeowners at The Sanctuary now have a brand-new ski-out run. “Sebway” was named by James and Renee’s oldest son as a class project. With the amazing snowfall this month, it has opened ahead of schedule and is running great.
6. We are dedicated to our partnership with Snowshoe Mountain and their management team to continue expansion of the mountain. Our current discussion includes the possibility of a new chairlift and further run expansion to the southeast as we evolve our vision for The Sanctuary. We are diligently working on a new green run for the 25/26 season, and hope to have a positive winter update soon.
7. The Mountain Modern series of homes are built for comfort and convenience. They come fully furnished and each home as an EV charger. They all have heated driveways and patios, hot tubs and privacy fencing. There’s along list of features. The bad news is there are only 3 of these home left before we pivot to larger homes for the next chapter.
8. 2025 will see the installation of Bear Run Road with the introduction of two new concepts this coming summer. These new homes will be on the Sebway ski out, and range from 1850 sq ft, 4 bed 3 bath, up to 2250 sq ft 5 bed 3.5 bath single car garage. Pricing, plans, and details to come later this winter.
9. In addition, we have two stunning stick-built homes coming in 2025. We already have the foundation in place for the uphill home on lot G9. We will break ground on lot M18 in the spring with a downhill version of this fabulous home. These will be 6 bedroom on the uphill version, and 5 bedrooms on the downhill version with 3750 and 4250 sq ft of space, an elevator, radiant heated garages, driveways and patios.
