The Sanctuary is perhaps one of the biggest and most exciting developments to come to Snowshoe in decades. If you haven’t been to Snowshoe recently it’s time for a renewed look at the incredible improvements taking place. If you’ve visited before you know the mountain is actually called Cheat Mountain and the beloved village and surrounding 11,000 acres that sit atop is called Snowshoe Mountain Resort. While nearly 2,000 residents already call Snowshoe their second or third home, The Sanctuary is the only high-end single-family ski-in/ski-out development carved into the mountain.

The Home Plans

With five single-family home plans featuring three- to nine-bedroom options, there’s a plan to accommodate your needs. All home sites are uniquely carved out atop of Cheat Mountain with ski-in/ski-out amenities. Step out your door and start your adventure!

Mountain Cottage

The Mountain Cottage plan is the perfect size for a small family or group. This home gives you 2,347 square feet of living space with three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a one-car garage. Spacious living areas with two balconies and a deck give you just enough living and entertainment space to enjoy.

The Gatehouse

The Gatehouse gives you 3,270 square feet of living space with four bedrooms and the option of turning bonus space off the garage into a ski storage area or a fifth bedroom. This plan gives you four bathrooms, one balcony and two spacious decks giving you and your guests plenty of space to soak in the beauty of each season.

 

The Highlands

The Highlands brings six bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a one-car garage within 3,912 square feet of living space. This plan also gives you a dedicated ski storage room, a bonus media room on the ground level right outside two of the bedrooms and outdoor living space your guests will love with a balcony, two decks and a large patio.

 

Spruce Peak

The Spruce Peak plan provides a spacious 5,275 square feet of living space with six bedrooms, 5.5 baths and a two-car garage. Amenities abound with this home plan including a wine cellar, dedicated bar area, elevator closets on each floor, private bathroom access for all bedrooms and two private porches, a patio and a viewing balcony and viewing porch off the main living space. The Slopefront

We’re not calling this the party house but The Slopefront will definitely not disappoint a house full of people. With 6,103 square feet of living space, you’ll find six (but could include up to nine) bedrooms, 5.5 baths and a two-car garage.
